I think all this starts at the British immigration act of 1948. It was an act of parliament of the UK on British nationality law which defined British nationality & created the status of "Citizen of the UK & colonies" (CUKC) thanks Wikipedia. Its been downhill hill ever since?

@SheilahBirgen I doubt this Wikipedia info is correct, as an avid reader of Supa Strikas. First issue came out in 2002 in Nigeria. Correct me if I am wrong but Supa Strikas was first a Nigerian comic before it was sold to a South African company and then to the current one

@smdiehl Years ago Wikipedia did a very clever campaign to raise awareness about net neutrality IIRC. For one day, Wikipedia was down. Got 404s repeatedly. Made me realize how often we used it every day. Crypto won’t be missed like that if the “ecosystem” melts down.
