Folks are playing with hooking LLMs up to browsers and ordering taskrabbits, with some success.
If Sydney is going babble on about dark fantasies, the problem is not that we might forget who is human, but that it shouldn’t be allowed to direct resources in the real world.

Policy idea: every individual should be granted $5000 in taskrabbit funds upon their 18th birthday.

@LLBroadwell Gift all the local kids multiple e-bikes so that they have a replacement when they crash the first three. Use TaskRabbit to park all of the rideshare bikes in this neighborhood. Task someone with a mobile bike repair shop to setup shop and fix bikes for free for the next 6mo

@rrhoover Wasn't that the whole concept of Taskrabbit back in the days? I feel like this is such a "northern world" issue. In Brazil (where I originally come from) I'd just hire a "Motoboy" (literally a guy on a motorbike) that would run errands. Supermarket, going to the bank, etc.

@pessanhai @omarfguzman @nikitabier @Taskrabbit Taskrabit is more for low-skill errand running.. the problem preventing a “skilled tradesmen on demand” type service is the lack of skilled tradesmen. I’ve thought about it a lot. Might work for specifically high-income neighborhoods though (you’d have to charge a big premium).

@JackieOLoveMe TaskRabbit has always been my go to. My husband swear he's Mr. Fix it, love him, but time is precious. TaskRabbit be in and out. It would another 30 days and 3 arguments before things get done. I know how to avoid arguing.
