@2still_learning @jameswoudhuysen The way I see it is this. Energy cost is lower than when the war started. The price cap has come down. However, to recoup the money lost on the high biller payers, they up the price onto those who will never reach the price cap. So low users will pay more, high users, less.

@2still_learning @ParkedProtest @AllisonPearson I don't see the problem with using a driving licence as a form of ID if used to prove identity when voting if ID is ever a requisite. Everyone eligible to vote receives a voting slip but is not required to produce it when voting, surely a paradox.

@ParkedProtest @2still_learning @AllisonPearson Yes, voting isn't compulsory although, illogically, it's an office to not register, but apparently not enforced. I do think voter ID is the best solution. Here, the people protesting against it don't seem to have a problem with having to show ID to collect a parcel - go figure!

@2still_learning @AllisonPearson Certainly in the past voter fraud has not been much of a problem, however, recent local and mayoral elections have been suspect and there have been strong suspicions of double voting, impersonation and coersive voting, particularly in East London.

@RKphotographic It certainly is. While in Viva Learning I can click on "Open in LinkedIn Learning" and the course will play in the browser window that opens. It just won't play within the Teams app itself due to what appears to be an auth issue

@bailey_jodie I used it for my masters research, found it really helpful to sit down with my dissertation supervisor who was a pro at using it so he could talk me through it. There are some excellent videos on LinkedIn learning that teach you how to use it that we have as BCU staff?

@2still_learning Thanks. I've just skimmed that and it looks very measured. One issue I homed in on is the ICE emissions of 136 g-CO2/km which they lifted from a modelled European lightweight car research project of 2015; that's only 48 mpg. Good small/medium sized cars do much better.
