@jeffkahrs Oh, sure. The companies that are just using it as a pre-ordering mechanisms are worth beefing about. But there are a lot of smaller companies that make Kickstarter their business model that I take no issue with whatsoever.

Their practises in the platform come to shape a mindset whereby folk start expecting that, for example, a large chunk of the book is ready by launch

@maariabajwa I viewed this more like a Kickstarter with an NFT bonus. In that respect I can’t see why anyone has an issue with it. Not every #NFT has to be an investment you can flip for profit, sometimes it can just be a (non-fungible) token
