@PhDForum In this technical age the language is not an issue. Any one can use google translator or freely available translators for english and grammarly.

@themattyjmp I'm not sure how to fix this, but if you install the Grammarly app/keyboard you get all the iPhone emojis and the keyboard has less bugs? That's what I did with my S20.

@thatzanygirl I use Grammarly for my writing. If I had said any of this, it would have shot me down in multiple places with 'your use of 'those' 'that' etc is ***ue. Be more specific'

I need fluency, fluency in English! that is what I miss.
do not look at the phone, it is a slippery slope. then you start scrolling down your Instagram losing an unforgivable amount of time.

@sweetbloomjae first of all, relax and take a tall cool drink of water. stand up and walk around, do some stretching. rest your eyes and brain. then come back to it and see where you made the errors. if it's in a gdoc, you can install the grammarly extension, it'll highlight the problem areas!

@chrislaughlin We're using a hidden iframe to inject content into so we can print a report from it.
Fun fact: some browser extensions block iframe.contentWindow.print(). Loom & grammarly are the main culprits. So I was working around that issue.

You need to really check up what plagiarism means.
I'm a content writer... I've seen copyscape and used Grammarly plagiarism checker...
In your 1000 words... 10 words can count as plagiarism...
In academic writing... It should not be more than 6%..

- functionality is similar; former is a little wider (recognizes more cl***es of problem), latter is deeper (recognizes more instances of problems)
- UX during usage is better in former, post-usage reporting better in latter

@Grammarly Thanks, but really I need this to be integrated with @finaldraftinc. or have Final Draft have a web version for that integration to work. Right now, I have to copy paste, find the errors, and manually fix them in the program.

@Shazorasious @han3yy Google doc help us in grammarly and other mistakes, its so useful for me, but the problem is, after using it you will never be want to use other softwares and can't do your writeup if you have no Internet data.

Also download a damn spell-checker and use grammarly or something because it's difficult as f*ck to understand what you want whilst I'm trying to decipher your f*cking broken English and poor spelling!

@RachelThwaites_ @AmySparkes @LouTreleaven @PipsJones Coincidentally, I was looking this up a few weeks ago, specifically for dates. I followed the advice from @Grammarly on their website blog. I’ve always used the rule of ten too, but beyond that - I think it’s down to style 🤷♀️ 😊

Ppl legit plagiarising and then rewording and using grammarly to fix everything. This is what we did in 6th grade to write our essays. Where did they go to undergrad??? Or high school??
