Another one: Teachers, please stop using Google Slides as notebooks because it's really jank. I'm dragging in the textboxes and Slides makes my fans loud and its lagging like crazy causing me to lead behind. Further, if I scroll up and down I might accidentally go to (1/2)

@TechMissC I was asked for best tool for #HyperDocs. We narrowed down to #GoogleSlides or #GoogleDocs based on Ts confidence & we ended up going docs for this reason & we used links to headers in text. Easy to forget great tricks with so many #GoogleEdu tools!

@SuperEvansMath @TheWeirdTeacher So in 9th grade English I scaled WAY back. Made a Google Slideshow Reading journal and we are reading Long Way Down VERY slowly because I am reading it out loud. Tight, tight focus on character and figurative language and APEE skill with citation ability. That is IT til it's done

@techteach_csub Google slides can be used to create games to promote peer collaboration. Each slide can have a math word problem. In groups of 3, one student can write the equation, one student can draw a picture to represent the equation, and one student can be the speaker

last school year my friends and i had to do a group project on google slides and one of them put "pp" as a placeholder somewhere and i was skimming it like 2 minutes before we had to present and caught it so we had to unsubmit it and fix it ,

@RakeshAgrawal I think it’s a training and do***entation problem not a software problem. Google slides in present mode (with second pop out window) allows you to zoom share only the presentation. Doesn’t help if you want to edit real time though.

I'm hybrid but one thing I've been ***igning for remote days is what I simply call dry erase practice. I snip a problem from a worksheet and the answer. In Google Slides just use a fade animation on the answer so they only see the problem and then click to see the answer.
