@LosPollosAmogus @LocalBateman My sons school has chromebooks and they are not bad, everything is online and thru google cl***room. Make tracking homework ***ignments and things easier. The only drawback it that the webpages the teacher gives is sometimes buggy - can’t submit an answer because HTML is broken.

With teachers still teaching but remotely same way they teach in person just captured in a Google cl***room for example, it is the same as in-person. The issue is that the DOE & everyone really needs to see that the antiquated practices need technology

Does anyone have any experience with Chromebook. The screen on the MacBook Air my daughter inherited is broken and I'm loathe to replace it with something similar when all it's really needed for is homework which is all on google cl***room anyway.

@smallbone_emma I think that Google cl***room used effectively can be a great tool. The problem is many teachers weren’t given enough training to use it that way. There are ways to make things easier for kids and families, but you have to know what to do.

@emily38702648 @VivekGRamaswamy Maybe we need to cherry pick our teachers in public schools too based on merit and not on identity, color, race or creed. This is a big problem I see with many teachers. To many rely on google cl***room and not good old fashioned teaching out of a textbook.

We used a #GoogleForm with our senior cl***es,who have #Google Cl***room or a school email to complete the survey. With our junior cl***es we used a paper survey and hands up technique to cut down on additional paper waste
