@TheRealAldwulf @Suddenlink Yep, I pay for 1gb download and 50mbps up. I haven't ever seen close to those numbers. Been fighting with them and Altice for over three years now because they can't fix the issue, which is I'm guessing, like you, they throttle.

Our internet would drop randomly or when the wind blew and digital services never worked 90% of the time. We want to try them again since Frontier just….

@jerryferrara Maybe two suggestions: you said "reset everything" that should include the att router; make sure the firmware is UTD, also had the same problem with Altice - since the cable box was close enough - hard wired it, all good now

@ImSpeaking13 For phone? I personally use Altice Mobile. It’s $20-30 a month for unlimited and they use T-Mobile and Sprint towers. You’ll need a compatible phone which is the only issue.

@OptimumHelp No, you cannot. I've been in communication with @OptimumHelp almost every week. The @AlticeUSA boxes are garbage. Only strong signal is within 3 ft of the main box (& yes we had the box replaced; no improvement). There's always some 'outage' in the area

🤨Altice charges an additional $6. per box per month yet cable boxes have to be changed out several times a year.

@Suddenlink Altice confirmed i was eligible for the emergency broadband benefit. B80990-87910 yet suddenlink refuses to honor it, because my drivers license has old address that i was a customer there as well. have been a customer for over 20yrs, and cant get any rep to talk to me to fix it

Rather than competing to offer better services to customers, cable companies like @AlticeUSA are matching other market players by making their service worse. And the @FCC still thinks there’s sufficient competition in the marketplace.
